During your romantic getaway at Edenvale Inn, enjoy some of Placerville's rich and diverse culture on Saturday, May 18th at the annual Wakamatsu Farm Festival. The event honor's the Wakamatsu Tea and Silk Farm Colony's residents, some of whom date back to the Nisenan tribe, and then to America's first Japanese settlers. The festival will feature numerous Japanese and and Native American performances such as Taiko drumming, a Tomadachi dance group, martial arts, and sushi making demonstations, as well as various exhibitions, live music, and of course food and drinks with sushi to boot! The festival is a mere 5 miles from Edenvale with plenty of parking and takes place from 10 - 4 on Saturday, May 18th.
