While our grounds at Eden Vale Inn B&B are beautiful and peaceful enough that some of our contented guests stay and relax here for their whole visit, others want to explore the beautiful Sierra Foothills, Gold Country, and American River that is all around us. Let us help!
We have partnered with the Placerville Bicycle Shop to bring you 2-for-1 bicycle rentals. We can also arrange for your wild or mild river trip, half- or full-day, with one of several reputable rafting companies — at 10% off! We have water all summer on the South and Middle Forks of the American River. Often your trip starts at just a 5 minute drive from Eden Vale Inn.
Please contact us with 48 hours’ notice so we can match you with the bicycles or rafting trip that is right for you, so you will have a great outing. We love to hear your stories over our breakfast the next day! For more information on these and other discounts, see our Specials Page.
This time Barbara really “knocked it out of the park” with her Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast! She is the Innsitter here at Eden Vale Inn B&B in Placerville, and It was amazing to watch her work. She served it with Blueberry Maple Syrup and fresh cut fruit from local gardens in the Sierra Foothills, which besides the melons, had three kinds of berries, kiwi and bananas. Our guests were full and happy as they drove away, saying, “we will be back again!”.

Apple Hill Blossoms are georgous in Spring: Not only are the participating ranches busy getting their activities together, but a Trail Run has been organized. One of the Folsom Trail Runners had the following to say: This is a great trail. It’s diverse and has challenges yet with amazing views. This will give Napa a run for their merlot. This is one of the few places in California where the trail, views and spectacular wine come to party!
The Cross Country Run course has been finalized, thanks to the tireless efforts of Randy Rapetti, of Rapetti Tree Farm. Additional information on the Blossom Festival and Run can be found at www.applehill.com.
